SBI PO 2026 Eligibility Criteria
1. Nationality
Candidates must be:
- Citizens of India, or
- Eligible categories as specified in the official notification.
2. Educational Qualification
- Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university.
- Final-year students may also apply provisionally, provided they produce proof of graduation on or before the specified date.
3. Age Limit (as on the date specified in the notification)
- Minimum Age: 21 years
- Maximum Age: 30 years
Candidates must have been born between the dates mentioned in the official notification. Age relaxation is available for reserved categories as per government rules.

Selection Process
The SBI PO selection process consists of:
- Preliminary Examination
- Main Examination
- Psychometric Test
- Group Exercise & Interview
Final merit is prepared based on Main Examination and Interview/Group Exercise performance.
Salary
The starting basic pay of an SBI PO is approximately ₹48,480 per month, along with DA, HRA, CCA, medical benefits, and other allowances. The gross monthly package can exceed ₹80,000 depending on posting location and benefits.
